Adults & Couples
01 — Individual Therapy

For yourself.

For when you've been carrying it alone long enough.

Maybe you can't put your finger on it, but something's not right. Maybe you've been functioning — but only just. Maybe you can see the pattern but can't seem to break it. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to keep figuring it out alone.

02 — Couples & Relationships

For the two of you.

For when you're tired of having the same argument.

It's not really about the dishes, or the money, or whoever forgot to call. Most couples come in saying they want to work on communication — but usually it's not about communication. More likely, it's about reactivity. That's where we start, and when that shifts, everything shifts.

Private pay.
But your insurance
might still help.

I don't bill insurance directly — which means no prior authorizations, no session limits set by a claims department, and no diagnosis required to start. You're in control of your care.

01
Pay at the time of your session. Standard rates apply.
02
Request a Superbill. I'll provide a detailed receipt with all the codes your insurance needs.
03
Submit to your insurance. Many plans reimburse for out-of-network therapy — check your benefits before we start.

Not sure yet?
That's what the consultation is for.

I offer a free 15–20 minute phone consultation — no commitment, no paperwork, just a conversation to see how it feels and whether we'd work well together. Reaching out is usually the hardest part. After that, it gets easier.

Common Questions
How often will we meet?
Most people start with every other week, which gives you time to sit with things between sessions. If you're in a harder place or want to move faster, we can meet weekly — just say the word. The pace is yours to set.
What's walk-and-talk therapy?
Exactly what it sounds like — we walk and we talk. Some people find it easier to open up when they're moving, and Durango has no shortage of good places to do it. It's a real session, just not in an office.
Do you work with people outside Colorado?
My Colorado license means I can only see clients who are physically located in Colorado at the time of our sessions. Telehealth works great for Colorado residents who aren't in Durango.
What's your cancellation policy?
I ask for 2 business days notice for cancellations. I know things come up — when you give me enough notice I can often get someone else into that slot, which helps everyone. Just reach out as soon as you know.
How do I know if you're the right fit?
The free consultation is the best way to find out. If it doesn't feel right after that, I'll do my best to point you toward someone who might be a better match. The relationship matters more than anything else.
